Hi, I'm Naomi, a documentary wedding photographer based in York. I photograph weddings on analogue film and digital, the way they actually happen: the nervous laugh before the ceremony, your nan on the dance floor, the pub after.

I don't do stiff group lines or hours of posing. My style is relaxed and documentary, so you can enjoy your day while I quietly get the real moments. It suits couples who'd rather have a registry office and a pub than a ballroom, who care more about character than perfection, and who want a photographer who feels like one of the guests.

I started out on my dad's old film cameras, and every wedding I photograph includes 3 rolls of 35mm film. Film gives you grain, real colour and photos that look like memories, not adverts.

I cover weddings across York, North Yorkshire and the rest of Yorkshire, from York Register Office to village halls, pubs, barns and the coast.

Affordable wedding photography that doesn't look it

Good photos shouldn't cost a month's rent. Half-day coverage is £550 and a full day is £950, including 200 to 400 edited photos and sneak peeks within 72 hours. Every package includes 3 rolls of 35mm film, and you can add more. See prices (link to /prices)
